Join us on Friday, 9-25, to celebrate the life and legacy of the incomparable Dolly Parton with a special one night only screening of Nine to Five in partnership with the Winding Rivers Library System!

Doors will open at 5:00pm with music, Dolly-inspired décor & cocktails, and we encourage everyone to dress up to the MAX in her honor!

The Winding Rivers Library will be sharing info on Dolly’s Imagination Library and there will also be specialty themed drinks available for sale at concessions with proceeds donated to the library! 

At 5:45pm Nine to Five will begin! In This 1980 screwball comedy, a trio of office professionals, played by Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin, seize control from their insufferable superior.

The Winding Rivers Library System is one of 15 library systems in the state of Wisconsin set up to promote, plan for, and facilitate library development and cooperation in the seven-county area. We currently serve 39 library locations within the counties of Buffalo, Trempealeau, Monroe, La Crosse, Jackson, Vernon, and Juneau. Our office of library consultants and delivery team works out of our office space in West Salem.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by Dolly’s Foundation and local program partner, the Winding Rivers Library System. As the local program partner, we are responsible for raising funds to cover the $2.60 monthly cost for every child registered. Donations made to our 501(c)(3), the Friends of the Winding Rivers Library System, will help us do this and will ensure this program endures long into the future.
