A Special Screening of Ueck Benefiting the Walk to Defeat ALS – La Crosse

Join us for an exclusive, one-night-only screening of the Bob Uecker documentary, Ueck, and help support a critical cause in our community!

“Mr.Baseball”, Bob Uecker, the former Major League baseball player, Hall of Fame sportscaster, comedian, and actor has seen it all and made us laugh along the way. Though UECK passed away in January 2025, this documentary from filmmakers Michael T. Vollmann and Steve Farr persists as a testament to his legacy, giving audiences intimate access to his life, work, family, and friends, amplifying his humor and heart for future generations.

Event Highlights:

• 5:00 PM – Doors Open: Arrive early to grab food, enjoy Miller Lite specials at the concession stand, and visit the ALS information table in the lobby.

• 6:00 PM – Introduction & Film: Settle in for a brief welcome before the movie begins.

• 7:45 PM – Exclusive Q&A: Stick around after the credits roll for a special live Q&A session with the film’s producers and directors, hosted by Dustin Luecke!

Our Mission: Since 2024, the Walk to Defeat ALS – La Crosse has united our community to raise over $275,000 for critical research and local care services. This year’s mission is especially poignant as we honor six local ALS heroes we have lost since the beginning of the year. Every dollar raised empowers those living with ALS, supports their caregivers, and pushes us closer to a cure.

Tickets & Donations: Tickets are $10, with 100% of the proceeds (after online transaction fees) going directly to the Walk to Defeat ALS – La Crosse. When purchasing your ticket, you will also have the option to make an additional direct donation to the cause.
